Our style of photography is a combination of journalism and art. We observe everyone in a natural setting and create images that evoke mood and emotion. We want to get to know you and understand who you are while taking photographs that capture the real you.Getting to know the people we meet is something that we treasure and has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of being a photographer. Our goal as photographers is to understand who you are as an individual, as a couple, and as a family; we wish to meet you, know you, and capture the real you with our vision and art.
I have always been involved in art in some way through drawing, painting, or photography. I even wanted to be an architect when I was growing up. However, life took an unexpected turn and I ended up studying psychology in college. I loved learning about people in how they think and feel. I also enjoyed discovering their motivations in life. However, art continued to have a greater influence on me than anything else. As much as I loved psychology, I couldn't stop thinking about photography. I started to take photos of people and discovered that I can learn about others' thoughts, feelings, and motivations through photography! In some sense, I feel I've learned more about people by taking their photo. Getting to know someone and then taking their photo is an incredibly humbling and rich experience. I've learned to appreciate the people I meet and the world around me; I have photography to thank for that.
My pursuit in photography stems from my love for my family and my admiration for people of passion. My family has been the greatest inspiration in my life. They are a hard working group of people and many of them have pursued their dreams and aspirations and it inspires me to do the same. I'm a big admirer for people of passion. People who pursue something they love. The joy and happiness that people experience is something that I love observing. I've seen people live for special interests, live for their loved ones, and even live for helping others. It's a constant reminder for me to "live in love." I want to capture what you love. I want to know what you're passionate about and witness the joy you have. My goal in photography is to document your "live in love" moments. Even if what you're passionate about is your DOG (like I am), I want to be there to capture it!
